Winter Curiosity Cruise
December 23, 2019 @ 10:00 am - December 28, 2019 @ 4:00 pm
Age group: 6-14
Toy Design: Kids will explore a variety of toys, understand what makes them work the way they do, and then make some simple toys on the same principles themselves. They would get to take many of their creations home.
Arduino Electronics: Kids will learn about basic digital circuits, some frequently used components like LEDs, buzzers and motors, and how to wire up a circuit on breadboard. Then they will code the Arduino using block-based coding to design circuits that are “intelligent”, i.e. that react to their environment. Imagine an automated door light that comes on when someone comes close to it – you get the drift 🙂
Robotics: Kids will learn about robots, their core components and varied applications in the real world, and, of course, get to play with adorable robots by writing fun, problem-solving code for them. In the process, they will learn how to use data from a variety of sensors to enable robots to make smart decisions.
Art with Code: This one combines the powers of mathematics, art and coding to create cool geometrical art on your computer. Those who enjoy maths and art will love it; those who don’t will start enjoying them after attending this 😉
App Design: Build fully-functional apps in a user-friendly way by learning the basics of design thinking and coding. Give your logical thinking skills that extra edge with this engaging expedition!
Game Design: Learn to code amazing computer games on your own and share them with your friends, family, or really anyone in the world! Done on a kid-friendly platform using block-based coding, this expeditions promises a lot of fun (and learning without even realising it!)
So, which ones will you sign up for? 🙂
